A DISABLED youngster has been put on the road to representing Team GB in the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio after being talent spotted by Boccia England.
Hinchingbrooke School pupil Jabe Peake, 13, was put through his paces in the disability sport, which is similar to bowls, by a scout from the organisation during a schools competition on December 5.
“His skills and suitability were tested and he has now been invited to join Boccia England’s pathway,” a spokesman for Hinchingbrooke School said. “Jabe will now go on to represent Cambridgeshire in the regional championships in January as an individual player. Hopefully he could be a Paralympian of the future.”
