Cambridgeshire police have said that investigations are ongoing following a road traffic collision in Caxton yesterday morning (Thursday).
Police were called to the incident at 7.33am to reports of a road traffic collision in Gransden Road, Caxton involving a Nissan Qashqai an Peugeot 107.
MAGPAS attended the scene and a woman was taken to Addenbrooke’s hospital with serious injuries.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue service said: “On Thursday (8) at 7.39am, one crew from Cambridge and one crew from Gamlingay were called to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Gransden Road, Caxton.
“Firefighters used specialist equipment to release one casualty from their vehicle. Both crews returned to their stations by 9.30am.”
