Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze in a kitchen late on Thursday.
Two crews from Huntingdon were called to a fire in Comben Drive, Godmanchester, at about 9.45pm.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the kitchen of a first floor maisonette. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.”
The crews returned to their station by 10.55pm.
An investigation ruled that the cause of the fire was accidental.
