Investigation launched after a stack fire in Graveley

An investigation has been launched by Cambridgeshire fire and rescue service after a stack of straw was set alight on Tuesday.

One crew from Papworth, one crew from Huntingdon, one crew from St Ives and the water carrier from Ramsey were called at 8:09pm to the fire on Offord Road.

Crews were called ay 8.09pm, one crew from Papworth, one crew from Huntingdon, one crew from St Ives and the water carrier from Ramsey were called to a stack fire on Offord Road, Graveley.

Firefighters used a hose reel and small gear to extinguish the fire, and dampened down the surrounding areas.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
