A MOTORIST had to be cut from their car after a crash on the A1 on Sunday (September 15).
Four fire engines were sent to the accident which happened at 5.28am on the Northbound carriageway of the motorway near Sawtry.
One casualty who had sustained injuries was trapped inside their car but firefighters were able to cut them free before 6am.
They returned to their stations shortly afterwards.
