Huntingdonshire turnout at 30 per cent for county elections

CAMBRIDGESHIRE County Council have announced an average turnout across Huntingdonshire of 30 per cent for yesterday’s elections.

Returning officer Colin Meadowcroft opened the count just before 12pm (May 3) stating that less than a third of those able to vote turned up at polling stations across the district.

The first results are expected to start coming through after 1pm.
