On Thursday, May 22, voting will take place for the seven members to represent the eastern region on the European Parliament, as well as 17 of Huntingdonshire District Councils 52 seats. The district council elections will take place in Alconbury and the Stukeleys, Sawtry, Buckden, St Ives East, Earith, St Ives South, Elton and Folksworth, St Neots Eynesbury and Godmanchester. There will also be elections for the district seats in St Neots Priory Park, Gransden and the Offords, The Hemingfords, Huntingdon East, Warboys and Bury, Huntingdon West, Yaxley and Farcet, and Ramsey. All seats in 20 town and parish councils will be contested, along with a by-election in St Ivess south ward after the resignation of Jonathan Salt. The parish councils being contested are Alconbury, Offord Cluny and Offord DArcy, Alconbury Weston, Southoe and Midloe, Buckden, Bury, The Stukeleys, Waresley-Cum-Tetworth, Great Paxton, Wistow, Hemingford Grey, Yelling and Houghton and Wyton.
