Isaac Brindley sure gets a kick out of charity work after returning from West Africa where he helped with football coaching sessions.
The 21-year-old, along with girlfriend Becca Harness and 42 others, went on a seven-night trip to The Gambia to volunteer with Football Gambia, which promotes education through sport.
Mr Brindley, who is a sports presenter for Huntingdon Community Radio, said: “I had a fantastic time with the people of Gambia, providing the children with top-quality football equipment and giving them football coaching as well. Not only that, I helped on a play day, teaching children a variety of sports such as rounders, rugby, dodgeball and many more.”
The pair also helped to build an adventure playground and a chicken coop, painted the wall of a medical centre, and handed out football shirts donated by clubs across Britain.
