Through a number of fundraising activities the practice based in St Johns Street, Huntingdon has given the charity Medical Detection Dogs a cheque for £2,000. To raise the money staff at the surgery have attended the Sawtry Carnival, Cambourne Fete and the Ramsey Animal Family Fund Day where they ran fun dog shows and games along with a stall. Marketing co-ordinator Lyndsay Burrell said: We also held our own Christmas Carol service in Huntingdon where Medical Detection Dogs attended and were able to raise more money. As a part of the fundraising the practice has been given the opportunity to name a puppy that will be trained by the dog charity. We would like the public to help us with this. Wed like something Cromwell or Veterinary of local related if possible, added Mrs Burrell.
