A Huntingdon teenager has experienced what it is like to be a student at Cambridge University after a three-day shadowing scheme.
Rebecca Treson, a sixth-former at St Peter’s School, was one of 360 people who took part, and teamed up with a student from Peterhouse, attending lectures and social events.
The 16-year-old, who wants to study English at university, said: “It has been really fun and inspirational.”
The scheme, organised by the students’ union, encourages applicants with a strong academic record who go to schools where few go to study at Cambridge or Oxford.
