Children at Huntingdon Primary School (HPS) turned into radio stars to create a live broadcast with news reports, music and fun competitions.

Year 6 pupils took part in a three-week project led by Christine Cox of Dreamstate 38, an organisation that runs school radio workshops.

A team of editors, a producer, a broadcast assistant, presenters and reporters were recruited and trained ready for the broadcast at the beginning of October.

Jackie Edwards, assistant headteacher, said: "The children will use these new skills to continue to report on life here at HPS, and in the spring term we shall be airing another broadcast."
