The disappointment of England’s less than impressive performances at the World Cup in South Africa could be easily forgotten if you have a bar in your garage where you can get to work erasing those painful memories.
Alan Walford, 51, from Huntingdon, has just that. His garage has a bar and his football memorabilia collection, going back to 1966, includes items signed by Bobby Moore. It is decorated with England badges, a signed Pele shirt and even a replica of the World Cup.
Mr Walford, who is a school caretaker, told The Hunts Post: “I have set up a bar in my garage for my friends. They bring the beer and we watch football.”
