Judges from Anglia in Bloom visited Huntingdon to cast their expert eyes over the town’s array of floral displays.

Members of the Huntingdon in Bloom committee welcomed the judges before escorting them around the town to show off the hard work that has been carried out by the committee's team of volunteers.

Stops were made at the Medway Centre, Stukeley Meadows School, the Newtown Centre, Hinchingbrooke Park, and Hunters Down Care Centre, while the judges also stopped to admire other displays around the town.

Natasha Pierson, chairman of the Huntingdon in Bloom committee, said: “We wanted to try and show the judges as much as possible so we included a lot on their tour. The committee has worked extremely hard to put on the displays this year, as has the town council's estates team.”

Judging in other parts of the region is continuing across the coming week, with the results expected to be announced on September 14.
