Huntingdon photo appeal springs into action
Are you a budding photographer with a love for our area? If so Huntingdon and Godmanchester Civic Society are keen to hear from you.
The organisation is running a Love Local photography competition to celebrate Civic Day on June 25 and are appealing for anyone with pictures of an attractive, enjoyable or distinctive area in Godmanchester or Huntingdon to send them in.
The snap can be of a building, river, an open space or even an animal at Wood Green animal shelter, and must have been taken in recent weeks.
All entries will be displayed on the society’s website and at the society’s stall at the Riverside Gala on Saturday, June 11 where the public will be asked to vote for their favourite.
The winning entries will be submitted to Civic Voice. Entries must be submitted by May 31.
