He met artist Derek Massey and landowner Stephen Parsley, who explained their idea for a round house reception centre and a statue inspired by Huntingdon Olympic gymnast Louis Smith. The statue would stand on an island a project Mr Massey hopes will be completed in time for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. Following the success of the spiritual opening ceremony of Moonhenge in August attended by druids, witches and other pagan groups they plan another event to mark the winter solstice on December 21, along with some theatrical performances next year. Mr Massey said: Jonathans visit was very inspiring he has been very supportive from the very beginning. He added: I think it will be unique and really very exciting when we get it finished its been quite an Olympian task.
