HUNTINGDON’S MP Jonathan Djanogly returned to the back benches yesterday (Tuesday) after losing his post a Justice Minister in Prime Minister David Cameron’s reshuffle.
North West Cambridgeshire MP Shailesh Vara, whose constituency includes north and west Huntingdonshire, is waiting to hear his future.
Mr Vara has been a Conservative Whip since the coalition government assumed office in spring 2010.
Mr Djanogly said the PM had thanked him for his continued support over the years and said he had done an excellent job.
The MP added that he was now keen to continue to support the people in his constituency, but would not comment further for the time being.
