Staff at Huntingdonshire District Council were joined by Jonathan Djangogly MP to take part in the world’s biggest coffee morning.
As a part of Macmillian’s biggest fundraising event, council staff at Pathfinder House baked cakes and made donations before enjoying a slice of something sweet.
Managing director Jo Lancaster said: “There was such a great selection of cakes and there was definitely something for everyone. There’s no guilt at all in enjoying a slice of cake when it’s for such a worthy cause.”
Council employees gave their support to the morning and raised £273.27 in total.
“I would like to thank everyone who baked cakes in support of this Macmillan coffee morning. It was a great success.”
