Huntingdon man films himself torturing his cat in tumble dryer ... three times
SHOCKING footage of a Huntingdon man putting his cat in a tumble dryer has been sent to The Hunts Post.
The horrifying video was uploaded to an internet forum by a man calling himself “Nitroazza”.
It was downloaded and forwarded to The Hunts Post by a forum member, who captured screen shots of the man’s web comments.
The man, who listed his location as Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, said: “Like cats? Check out my cat, the new version of Mr Tumble.”
He followed the comment with a smiley face icon, before asking members to comment and rate his video.
In later posts he told viewers his cat was called Princess – and that it should be shot.
Appalled forum members blasted the video, which has now been removed from the website.

One said: “There is something not right here… I was trying to figure out if it was real or not. I certainly hope not.”
The man later posted an apology: “It was wrong of me to put up edits of animals, especially in that manner up on public forums… I am very sorry if your [sic] a cat lover. You will not be seeing anymore…”
The matter is now being investigated by the RSPCA, who are keen to hear from anyone who knows the identity of the perpetrator.
Under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, the maximum fine for animal cruelty is 20,000. The maximum term of imprisonment for offences is six months. Under the act, pet owners have a legal duty of care to meet the welfare needs of their animals – including protection from injury.
A man, who wishes to remain anonymous, brought the footage to The Hunts Post’s attention and has been co-operating with the RSPCA, said: “I was taken aback when I saw it.
“I looked back on his profile and he’s apologised for the video – he knows he’s done wrong.
“I just hope he gets what he deserves. People like him shouldn’t be allowed pets full stop.”
A spokesman for the RSPCA said: “The matter has been passed on to our acting chief inspector.”
She said they were trying to trace the man responsible and were keen to hear from anybody with the man’s real name and address.
She added: “The video is really horrible. We were quite shocked. The door to the tumble dryer was opened and closed three times.”
The cat survived the ordeal but the spokesman said: “It would have been very distressed.
“Obviously we are very concerned about it and anybody that has information that will help our investigation should get in touch.”
