The national chain of bakers shut down the store earlier this month to transform and modernise the outlet into an open plan café and shop. Area manager Penny Cornwell said: We are really looking forward to opening tomorrow as we are now all ready to go. The store has been given a facelift with new seating, new tills, fridges and electronic menus. It is something that is happening all around the country as we are moving away from a separate café and shop, said Penny. Tomorrow teams will be out in High Street with samples of their products and vouchers to get discounts in the store. The vouchers will last for a month so people dont just have to use them tomorrow, we will also have a big balloon arch to celebrate the opening. Curious customers have been eager for the bakers to re-open with many prompting Penny for a hint of when it will open its doors. I had people coming up to me in my village when I was walking my dog asking me when it would open. Manager Wendy Morris added: I am dead excited for it to open now as it looks lovely.
