Staff at Santander, in High Street, Huntingdon took a challenge to ride 105 miles the distance to their Boston branch on a static bike. Business manager Ian Shaw said: It was quite a challenge for us to complete the ride as none of us our passionate cyclists but we just set out to do it for charity. On the day the bike was supplied by Gym Kit UK and instructed by Steven Sykes from Fitness Squared Ltd, based in Woodwalton. Mr Shaw added: We all had a great day and in the end we ended up cycling 127 miles which we were surprised at. The staff at the branch also hosted a cake stall with all of the colleagues either baking or buying cakes. In total the store raised around £236 for Age UK and Barnados who are the banks partner charities for the year.
