Tractors, horses and dogs drew hundreds of people to Ramsey last Sunday (September 29) for the annual Plough and Country Fayre Day.
Held at Ramsey Rural Museum, the event celebrated the art of cultivation and included horse and tractor ploughing competitions as well as ploughing and dog displays.
Also among the main attractions were the Newfoundland dogs which pulled children along on sleds, vintage tractors and a wide variety of stalls selling bric-a-brac, books, food and other items.
Jon Fountain, pictured left, from Benwick, took third place in the ploughing competition’s under 25s class.
