The Rotary Club of St Ives has raised more than £2,000 thanks to another successful charity pub quiz.
Some 43 pubs took part in the 14th edition of the popular quiz, held on March 30, with more than 630 eager participants signing up to join in.
The winning pub was The Duchess, in Fenstanton, scoring 188 points out of 195 and taking home the winner’s trophy, a dozen bottles of wine, and £250 for their chosen charity, Magpas.
All pubs and clubs which finished in the top 10 also received cheques. The next quiz will be held on October 5.
Almost £37,000 has been raised through the regular quizzes. Anyone interested in taking part in a future event can contact Adrian Acton on 07850 898684 or e-mail adrianacton99@gmail.com.
