WITNESSES to an incident of fly-tipping are being urged to come forward.
House refurbishment waste, including old plumbing, carpet, guttering, worktops and garden waste was dumped in broad daylight in Farcet.
The dump, reported by residents to Huntingdonshire District Council, took place on Straight Drove at the junction with Wrights Drove between 9am and 3pm on November 16.
Councillor Darren Tysoe, executive councillor for environment, said: “This area is quite a busy junction. It is very unusual for fly-tipping to occur at this time of day, and we would urge anyone who may have witnessed this act to contact the council as soon as possible to help us with our investigations.”
