BLUNTISHAM: Firefighters were called to rescue a horse stuck in a horse box on Sunday (October 13).
Crews from Huntingdon, Cambridge and St Ives were called to Hollidays Road at 10.10am to the aid the distressed animal, which was trapped over a partition in the trailer.
Animal rescue specialists were requested but as they were setting up to rescue the horse, it released itself and wasn’t seriously injured.
The crews were back at base by 11.55am.
