Homes in Huntingdonshire left without power

Hundreds of homes across Huntingdonshire have been left without power due to a unplanned power cut.

Complaints of homes without power in the area were reported earlier this afternoon and power is said to be back on between 4pm-5pm.

Areas that are understood to have been affected include Croxton, Yelling, and Hemmingford Grey.

A spokesman for UK Power Networks said: “We were investigating a high voltage overhead electricity line fault which caused a power cut in the local area.”
