Crowds lined the streets of Somersham on Saturday to watch dozens of people parade in costumes depicting Hollywood movies.
The parade was a part of this year’s carnival which was given the theme of greatest films and saw characters from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Pirates of the Caribbean descend on the village.
Theresa Baird, chairman of the Somersham carnival committee, said: “We had an amazing carnival parade after people had been working for weeks and months to put it together. The children also looked great in their costumes.
“It was a marvellous day for all and everyone really enjoyed it.”
In the afternoon, hundreds took to Norwood Playing Field where there was activities for all to enjoy, including a Thomas the Tank Engine train, food stalls as well as bands that supplied entertainment for each generation.
