OFFICERS have issued a warning after high value tools were stolen from six motor vehicles in Fenstanton.

The thefts occurred between 3pm on Monday and 3pm yesterday (Tuesday) sparking the warning.

A police spokesman said: “I urge all owners of vehicles where tools are stored to please re-think security. Any high powered, high value tools should be removed and stored securely overnight.

“Alternatively please make sure your vehicle is as secure as possible. You may think about Installing security lighting to the outside of your home/garage, or installing an alarm to your vehicle.”
