Songwriter Henry Priestman has been forced to cancel his show in Huntingdon on Friday (February 23) because of ill health.

Priestman, best-known for his work with the Christians, had been set to play at the Montagu Club with Les Glover as part of the Papa Echo 29 series of gigs.

He said he had picked up a virulent bug and had to call a show off for the first time in more than 40 years of playing professionally.

Priestman said he hoped to be able to reschedule a date for later in the year.

Papa Echo 29 announced they would be refunding ticket buyers as soon as possible.
