The event took place in the village on Saturday night and included a choir from Hartford Junior School, hot dogs, mulled wine, roast chestnut and gifts for everyone who attended. The lights were switched on by Huntingdons deputy mayor, Jay Dyne, and a blessing was carried out by the Rev Amanda ONeill from All Saints Church in Hartford. Organiser, Juliet Cole, said: It was a magical evening, and there was snow. Father Christmas visited Hartford and every child we spoke to enjoyed meeting him and seeing the snow machine at work. We have learned a lot this year and we hope to be back in 2017, bigger and better.
