Members of Godmanchester Running Club will be donning their Christmas-themed outfits again on December 16 to raise funds for the towns three primary schools.
The annual Santa Chase will be starting from the Exhibition pub at 3.30pm and will see participants run, jog, and walk around the main streets of Godmanchester, calling at the town’s four pubs - The Black Bull, The White Hart, The Exhibition and The Royal Oak - with their collecting tins and buckets.
Club member, Jon Finch said: “This year we have decided to raise funds for our three town schools, so keeping our fundraising for worthwhile causes within our local community.”
Residents are welcome to take part in the festive-themed event. The suggested donation to take part is £5 for an adult and £2 for a child.
