The ‘bike doctor’, who was visiting Godmanchester Primary School as part of Bike It, the charity’s school cycling project, checked tyre pressures, brake pads and seat heights to make sure children were riding safely.

Kids who took part also received a free breakfast when they arrived at the school in Park Lane, Godmanchester on Friday (February 4).

“No one is too young to benefit from Bike It,” a Sustrans spokesman said.

“Bike It is all about helping children get fit and healthy by teaching them the skills they need to cycle safely and responsibly.”
