Cllor Underwood chose the Richmond Fellowship, which provides support to people with mental health issues, as one of his charities of the mayoral year. In Cambridgeshire the services provided include supported housing, wellbeing and employment, the latter both for those currently in work, or seeking it. Richmond Fellowships specialist employment service is for people who have been off work due to mental health challenges and are keen to return to employment, voluntary work, education or relevant training. The restoration of the garden at Island Hall Cottage in Godmanchester has been a project involving both staff and client and Cllr Underwood provided the finishing touches by planting a tree to commemorate the occasion.
