POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was attacked while walking to Upwood.
The 17-year-old was walking along a footpath from Bury to Upwood on Wednesday, August 3 around 5.30pm when she was grabbed from behind by a man.
She managed to break free and the offender got into a black car and left. The woman was not injured in the attack.
The man is described as Asian, around 5’9”, slim with dark stubble. He was wearing a gold chain on his wrist and black trainers.
