Every pupil achieved five or more passes at A* to C grade. Included in these results are those for International GCSEs in French, Mathematics and Physics. Thirty-four candidates, more than a third of the year group, achieved nine or more A* or A grades. Charlotte Carpenter-Platt, of Hilton, and Ellie Peters, Fenstanton, both received 10A*s while Helena Pilcher, Tilbrook, and Elena Reid, Great Gidding, achieved 9A*s and 1A each. Close behind with 8A*s and 2As were a further 10 pupils: Ayla Bravo-Escos (Abbots Ripton), Simon Carter (St Ives), Nicola Finch (Godmanchester), Leo Grant (Tilbrook), Jessica James and Hannah Szczepanski (both Brampton), Maya Kotwal (Stow Longa), Charlotte Lumbers (Ellington), Rebecca Marr (Papworth Everard) and Callum Paterson (St Neots). Naomi Daniels-Holgate from Islip, Chloe Hunter (Brampton) and Thomas Palmer (Stonely) all attained at least 7A*s. All of the above plus the vast majority of the rest of the year group will be continuing in Kimbolton Schools Sixth Form next month where they will be joined by a number of students from other schools. Jonathan Belbin, headmaster, said: These results are fabulous at the top end, and overall are among the best our pupils have achieved. However, I am just as delighted with the number of pupils who have come through with less stellar grades, having worked just as hard as those in the all A* category.
