TWO Huntingdon men and a man from Warboys have been arrested after police discovered the county’s largest cannabis farm with plants worth �2.44million.
TWO Huntingdon men and a man from Warboys have been arrested after police discovered the county’s largest cannabis farm with plants worth �2.44million.
Officers raided a premise in Hill Row, Haddenham on Thursday morning (July 8) and found 7,655 cannabis plants.
The drugs were found spread across two floors in a large barn with sophisticated growing and cultivation equipment also discovered. Police dog units and the force helicopter were used during the raid.
Detective Inspector Craig Harrison said: “This raid is part of our ongoing work to tackle the production and supply of cannabis in the county. On Thursday we discovered thousands of plants and we believe this is be the biggest ever cannabis farm in Cambridgeshire.”

A 41-year-old man from Haddenham, two men aged 24 and 29 from Huntingdon and a 40-year-old man from Warboys, have been arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis.
The four men remain in custody at Parkside Police Station in Cambridge.
