Dr Who fans were given a treat as some of the stars from the past paid a visit to Sawtry Carnival on Saturday.
As well as a visit from K9 and the Daleks, the colourful carnival also featured a fancy dress theme and a parade through the village headed by Peterborough High Pipe Band and Harmony Majorettes.
Children were entertained by Ed the Clown, a model railway, bungee trampolines, music and rides.
The event is organised by Sawtry Carnival Committee and Sawtry Parish Council.
Spokesman Gill Tanner said: "We sold all the 500 prize draw tickets and we want to thank our sponsors for donating prizes and helping to cover costs.
"We usually give some money to local good causes and we will have a meeting this week to see what we are able to do this year.
"It was a great day and the entertainment went down very well.
