Business owners, residents and councillors have teamed up to climb the O2 dome, in London, next month with many hoping to conquer their fear of heights. Fundraising manager Doug McIlwain said: I have 22 people taking part in the challenge and most of them are scared of heights so it will be a battle for them. Last year a group of volunteers took part in a skydive to raise money and it was decided to do a challenge as dangerous again. Councillor McIlwain said: We aim to do something every year that is high adrenalin and dangerous each year to fundraise for the charities so we thought this would be perfect. The team will take on the challenge on April 3 to fundraise for the Hartford Darby & Joan Club, Hinchingbrooke District Scouts, Hunters Down Care Centre (Activities), Huntingdon Town & Rowdies Football Club and Stukeley Meadows Rainbows.
