A four-year-old boy suffered a serious leg injury after being involved in a collision with a mobility scooter.
Police said the collision happened in Warner’s Park, St Ives, at about 4pm on Friday, September 19.
The boy, who had been playing with friends in the park at the time, was taken to hospital and later released.
The scooter was being ridden by a woman who was not injured.
Officers are now trying to find out exactly how the collision happened.
DC Dianne Booth said: “This collision left the boy with a serious injury to his leg and it will take some time for him to recover fully.
“There were people in the park at the time so I would encourage them to come forward and let us have any information they think could help us determine how the collision happened.”
