Four injured in Godmanchester road crash

A CAR crash blocked a Godmanchester road and left four people injured.
A CAR crash blocked a Godmanchester road and left four people injured.
Police, firefighters and ambulance crews were called to the two-vehicle collision on the A1198 near to Wood Green Animal Shelters at 1pm on Wednesday (September 1).
The crash involved a Nissan Micra and a Ford Mondeo.
Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to remove the roof of the Micra and free a trapped female motorist. She was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. Three other motorists suffered minor injuries.

The road was clear just after 4pm.
