POLICE are investigating four deliberate bin fires that were started in a Huntingdon street in the early hours of today (May 8).

Firefighters were called to reports of a bin on fire in Saunders Close, Huntingdon, at 12.20am where they arrived to find several separate fires involving bins.

One of these had spread from the bin to a shed and a fence.

The fire service said the fires were started deliberately and police returned to Saunders Close today to investigate the crime alongside fire services.
