A FORMER Huntingdonshire council clerk will appear in court later this month to answer to 30 fraud charges.
Jane Haggar, of Malthouse Lane, Ramsey, resigned as clerk of Upwood and the Raveleys Parish Council in April, after it emerged that she was the subject of a police investigation.
Yesterday (Tuesday), following a planned visit to Huntingdon police station, a spokesman said: “Police have today charged a 49-year-old woman from Ramsey with 30 counts of fraud by false representation and one count of theft by an employee.”
She is due to make a first appearance before Huntingdonshire Magistrates on October 24.
