Flowers, vegetables and mouth-watering produce featured at this year’s St Neots & District Gardening Club show, which attracted more than 300 entries.

The event, which is the 48th in the club’s history, took place on August 12 at the Eaton Socon Community Hall and visitors were able to browse classes for cut flowers, pot plants, cakes and handicrafts, which were scored by independent judges. There was also a childrens’ section and prizes were awarded to club members and members of the public.

“It was very pleasing to see so many entries,” said committee member Bernard Tucker who won a prize for the member who gained the most points in the show.
