A fire crew were called to a house fire in Alconbury in the early hours of this morning (Thursday, January 2).
One crew from Huntingdon rushed to Manor Lane at 12.44am to find that a wheelie bin had been set on fire.
The flames had spread to the external wall and electrical sockets of the house.
They used hose reels and jets to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 1.45am.
The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact the police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
