A COW was rescued from a river in Huntingdon on Saturday.
Fire crews were called to Port Holme Meadow by Mill Common at 12.54pm to help animal rescue officers get the bovine out of the river, which leads into the Great Ouse.
A fire service spokesman said: “By 1.32pm the crew had released the cow from the river.”
Crews were back at base by 1.44pm.
