Firefighters cut two people free from van after it careers into ditch in Stonely

A van overturned after careering into a ditch in Stonely this morning (Friday).
Firefighters from St Neots and Huntingdon, along with two crews from the East of England Ambulance Service, were called to a stretch of the B645 at about 10.30am.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters arrived to find a van had overturned and collided with a tree. Using specialist cutting equipment they released two casualties.”
Paramedics assessed two people at the scene, a man and a woman, before they were taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital. According to the ambulance service, their injuries were not serious.
