Firefighters had to cut a casualty free from a vehicle after an accident on the A1 southbound yesterday.
One crew from Stanground, one crew from Dogsthorpe and one crew from Stamford in Lincolnshire were called to the scene of the crash, near Junction 47 for Wansford, at 5.35pm.
The casualty was released using specialist cutting equipment before being taken to hospital by ambulance crews.
Crews had returned to their stations by 7.20pm.
