ARSONISTS set fire to a derelict building at RAF Upwood last night (August 11).

Firefighters were called to the former military base at around 11.30pm and found several rooms on fire including two downstairs which contained burning rubbish.

The fire was extinguished by 1.45am when the two crews in attendance returned to their stations.

Anyone with information on the fire should call police on 101.
