A FIRE was started in a hedge next to the A1 yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
Firefighters from St Neots were sent to the fire, between Little Paxton and the A428 junction, under a bridge on the southbound carriageway at 4.25pm.
The crew returned to its base at 4.50pm. The cause of fire was deliberate.
