THREE crews tackled a fire in a stubble field near Alconbury today (Tuesday).
Firefighters from Huntingdon, St Neots, and Sawtry extinguished a blaze, measuring 100m x 150m, in a field off Woolley Road. A water carrier from Yaxley was also used.
The cause of the fire, which broke out at around 11.25am, is unknown.
The crews returned to their stations by 2pm.
