Crews from Huntingdon and Papworth were called to a house in Wyton over the weekend after a gas main caught fire.
Firefighters attended the property, in Bath Close, on April 15, extinguishing the blaze with a hose reel before returning to their stations by 5.35pm.
A safety cordon was set up and about 15 to 20 houses were temporarily evacuated by Cambridgeshire police, with the fire affecting the side of the property.
The cordon was lifted just before 5pm, and investigators have deemed the cause of the fire to be accidental.
